The United Media Services (UMS) board of directors decided on Wednesday to appoint Dr. Mohamed Khedr as the new chairman of CBC TV network. Dr. Mohamed Khedr Ali is currently serving as the head of the production department at the Higher Institute of Cinema and general manager of the Dream TV channel. From 1994 to 2011, he worked as an artistic producer for the Arab Radio and Television (ART) network. he also served as director of the production and programs department at Dream TV channel in 2013 and general manager of Al-Hayah TV channel from 2013 to 2015. CBC started its live broadcast on July 2, 2011. Currently, most of the shows on-air are skewed towards analyzing the political, economic and social events.
