11|08|2022 Fatafeat, Warner Bros. Discovery’s largest Arabic food network, is hosting a reboot of its cooking competition, Star Chef, and is looking for contenders for the title. Self-nominations to participate in the show are now open, which means if you think you’ve got what it takes, then it is time to sign up to become Middle East’s next star chef. The competition will be judged by household names Mohammad Orfali, co-owner of Orfali Bros Bistro, winner of Time Out Dubai’s Best Middle Eastern restaurant in 2022, and Tarek Ibrahim. The screening process will include multiple stages, from challenges requiring entrants to cook specific recipes, filming in the Fatafeat studio and competing one-on-one with other entrants. All phases will be judged by celebrity chefs Tarek Ibrahim and Mohammad Orfali, the official faces of Star Chef 2022. Eight finalists will be announced on Sunday, September 4.
